Mental Caddy
Four taps a hole. Mental Caddy turns them into a Mental Par Score, a Mental Handicap and the exact number of shots your head is costing you.

"I believe it's impossible to overestimate the importance of the mind in golf."
It wasn't the drive on 14. It was what you did for the twenty minutes after it.
Every golfer has the round they should have shot four better. You can describe it in detail at the bar afterwards. But on Monday there's nothing to work on, because nothing about it got written down. The scorecard says 82 and says nothing about why.
So you go back to the range and hit the shot you already hit fine.
All three happen while you're still on the course. Each one is useful on its own. It takes all three before the app can tell you something your scorecard never could.
One
Wind, elevation, temperature, altitude, lie, ground conditions. Tell it the number to the pin and it tells you the club and the carry, adjusted the way a tour caddy adjusts. Three levels, from a straight answer to the full read.

Four short questions after every hole. Mental Caddy turns them into a Mental Par Score and a Mental Handicap that moves like your real one. For the first time the part of your game you've always felt has a number attached.

Mental game this hole
This round
Seven holes logged. Five performance states, two interference.
Three
Measured against golfers at your handicap, not against tour players, so a positive number means you genuinely beat your own standard. It finds the exact situation costing you most, then hands you a drill for it.
Strokes Gained
vs 7.4 Handicap
Your biggest opportunity is Putting, costing you 4.8 shots a round.
Shot Distribution
Measured against a 7.4 handicap golfer.

Group chat
Post a tee time
Post the tee time you've got and how many spots are open. Golfers near you see it and ask to join, and you get their handicap with the request, so you know who you're saying yes to before you say it.
The moment you accept someone the group chat is already there, because the chat is the tee time. Nothing to set up, no numbers to collect, nobody left off the thread by accident. Course, time, who's in and everything anyone needs to say about it, in one place until you tee off.
Then you play, and the app that filled the group is the same one keeping your card.
Something to chase
Every badge has four tiers and none of them are handed out for showing up. Rounds played, consistency streaks, clubs mapped, courses explored, moments you owned when it would have been easier not to. A perfect ten Mental Par Score is Platinum, and it's meant to be hard.
Then there's Golfer of the Month, a live leaderboard across the whole community. Points come from rounds logged, streaks held and mental scores earned, so the golfer sitting on top isn't the one with the lowest handicap. It's the one doing the work.
The point isn't the badge or the ranking. It's that the thing you're chasing is the habit that lowers your handicap, so the game keeps pulling you back to what matters.

The part nobody else does
Every other golf app tracks your stats. Mental Caddy tracks what your head was doing while you produced them, then puts the two side by side and does the subtraction.
Round by round, it compares your sharpest headspace against your flattest and shows you the difference in actual shots gained. For most golfers that gap is worth several strokes a round, which means a serious chunk of what looks like a swing problem is a thinking problem, and no amount of range time will touch it.
Then it tells you which one to work on. Sometimes it sends you to the range. Sometimes it doesn't.
"Some leaks are in your swing. The expensive ones are in your head."
Find out what your head is costing you, in shots.

Golf Coach
Built from your rounds, your mental state and your club distances, grounded in proven sports psychology.
The note waiting for you
After every round your caddy writes you a note. Not a template with your name dropped in. It reads your mental moments in the words you wrote them, your strokes gained by category, and what keeps recurring across your last several rounds, then tells you the one thing to do differently next time.
The mental side draws on the work the tour actually uses. Bob Rotella, Joseph Parent, Timothy Gallwey, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott, David Cook. The technical side works from strokes gained the way a tour coach does. It quotes your own numbers back at you, and when the data doesn't support a conclusion it says so instead of inventing one.
Grouped by when you'd actually reach for it.

Between rounds
If you keep a handicap, practise with intent and still can't explain why some rounds go sideways, this was built for you. It assumes you can play. It assumes you don't need to be told to keep your head down.
It's not a scorecard app. If you just want to keep score there are free ones and you should use one.

The golfer who wouldn't let it go
Co Founder
Kyle came to Mental Caddy the same way most people come to golf, as an average player who just wanted to get better. He started taking lessons with David French and it didn't take long before the conversations drifted off swing mechanics and onto the part of the game nobody was really coaching.
Kyle is a Captain on a G450 private jet with more than 10,000 hours of learning to perform when the pressure is highest, and on the ground he's the owner and CEO of First Class Leaders, a mindset and leadership coaching company for people who want to do the same. David had the golf side covered. Between the two of them they kept circling the same gap: golfers at every level are bleeding strokes to the six inches between their ears and almost nobody is teaching them how to stop it. So they built the thing they couldn't find.
Kyle uses the app every time he plays and his handicap has been dropping ever since.
"You have to earn a better swing. The six inches between your ears is the part you can start controlling today."
Their coaching, in your pocket, for every round.
Every new golfer gets 14 days of the complete app. No card, no checkout, nothing to cancel. Play a few rounds, read your coaching notes, find your leak. If it's not for you, walk away and nothing happens.

No. It scores your round, but the point is what it does with the round afterwards: your mental handicap, your strokes gained against your own level, and the connection between the two.
No. The mental game side works from four quick questions a hole. Shot logging is what powers strokes gained, and even that mostly fills itself in from your score plus anything you ran through the caddy.
Yes. Three or four rounds is enough for the patterns to settle. Strokes gained needs a few rounds before you should trust a conclusion and the app tells you when it's ready rather than guessing early.
